This is the 57 mm
version of the Aolong it’s a very nice speed cube and it’s between the $12 and
$15 dollars
It corner-cuts more
than 45 degrees and the inverse corner cutting is about two-thirds of a cubie,
It is very fast and depending on your style it can become uncontrollable, right
now I don’t have loose tensions and it’s not so lubricated.
Right out of the box,
it has regular tensions and isn’t pre-lubricated. By the way, it has a scratchy
and crispy feeling and blocks doesn’t happen too much. I haven’t had any pops
with this cube, and I have only experienced a couple of corner twisting with
this tensions (with a pair of weeks using it).
As you probably know,
one of the main reason Moyu made this cube is because the version 1 had very
serious problems with corner twisting, this impacted so much when Feliks
Zemdegs beat the world record of a single 3x3x3 solve, but unfortunately it was
a DNF because at the last moment he involuntary twisted one corner, that time
he got a 5.33 seconds solve. So then, Moyu took out this strengthened version 2 of the
Aolong.
